At a stall at three months

Recommended Posts

And by that I mean I have been going between 169-170 for the last month. Sw was 202, I'm 5'7, cw is 169-170.... I uped my excersize routine and feel good about it but would sure like to see it moving again... Can anyone tell me a typical day of food (easier the better). I would really appreciate it to avoid this disappointment creeping back in that a remember at about this time in my old dieting days. I drink a Premier Protein in the morning with Vitamins, might have a boiled egg around 1030 after workout,, usually different spiced tuna or salmon with salad for lunch... A sensible dinner without carbs... I do snack on peanuts here and there... And I get all my Water in with a coffee once a day.... I might switch something up by addin a cheese stick with deli mt, or scramble eggs. I make taco salad (love) with their low sodium spice an extra lean ground beef.... I am proud of myself and feel fret for what has come so far but I feel like I'm missing something

Looks like your doing everything your suppose to be doing. Are you getting plenty of Water everyday? How often are you working out. What are you diet stat... ca/pro/carbs?

You were a light weight going into this and most are slow losers. You have what about 30-35lbs to goal? You slow down a lot the closer to goal you get.

Your intake seems right.....I notice when the scale isn't moving the inches are dropping! Try not to let it get you down....As long as you continue what your doing your body will respond. Best Wishes

I am in high intensity cardio classes twice a week, the pool once a week, and at home once a week... I average between 800-1000 cal and have 70 gr of Protein... I know it slows down but een people on we can loose 1-2 PDs a week

February 7th was 3 months out for me and I stalled for 4 weeks starting about then the scale kept bouncing between 172-175. It has been 170-171 for the last few days so I am hoping that means the stall is over. I did not do anything to break the stall as my doc said they were natural. I just kept doing what I was doing.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
