mrchris 98 Posted March 6, 2013 I didn't sleep the night before either... But that was in large part because I'm usually up until 2 to 3am and my morning starts around 10. Day of surgery for me I was the first one up and had to be at the hospital checking in by 4:00am. Just made more sense to stay up. A minor case of the nerves made it so I never would have slept anyways. Just relax and know that in a relatively short amount of time you will be exceedingly happy that you did this. Yea in your case I would have stayed up too. Yes I'm trying to relax and watch a movie but my mind will not focus on the movie lol. Hopefully my eyes will get heavy soon. I have to be at the hospital at 7 am so I have a little time. Thank you for the reassurance

DanaInNewOrleans 513 Posted March 6, 2013 Well tomorrow is the day I have been waiting for my whole life. I can't believe I will officially be sleeved tomorrow. I am so nervous and anxious I can't sleep. How did u guys sleep the night before lol. I'm on like an emotional roller coaster : I was completely calm. I actually didn't go to sleep -- I had to be at the hospital for 6 ( it's a 45 minute drive) so I ended up cleaning house all night - I wanted to make sure everything was clean when I got home... I had no doubts about my decision so I was at peace. On the way to the hospital my husband made the comment that he couldn't believe how calm and unconcerned I was.... Good luck....be excited....this is the beginning of a new life! ~Dana
ertlandia 74 Posted March 6, 2013 I had a hard time sleeping due to nerves. I was scared up to the point of them taking me back to the or. I was constantly trying to think of a reason to leave, because i am scared of hospitals. However it was the best decision I have ever made. hold in there everything will be a-o-k
