jjoyce282 23 Posted March 4, 2013 Hey everyone! Well, it's official....I was sleeved on Friday march 1st. To be honest, I was not expecting to be in the amount of pain that I am in. I was discharged from the hospital yesterday. The first 36 hours I was needing my pain med, dilaudid, every 2 hours :-( The morphine they tried first wasn't even touching my pain! After the first 36 hours they started me on the liquid lortab. It helps but I'm still in pain. Besides my abdominal pain I have had this horrible back pain. They did some additional blood work to see of I had postop pancreatitis. Thank goodness everything was fine there! Thankfully, I haven't had too much nausea! I'm hanging in there and I know that it will keep getting better day by day!

BeatrizS1974<3 sleeve 94 Posted March 4, 2013 Congrats. Sounds like gas pain. I used a heating pad and would place it on my back and on my chest and it helped with the pain. You also want to walk around the house. it helps move that gas out of you.
