Recommended Posts

I'm on full liquids and having trouble finding low fat cream Soups. Any suggestions?

Just curious why it has to be low fat? Low fat usually means high in something else like sugar.

I liked Anderson's Split Pea Soup. Went down easy pretty quickly post-op and it has 9-10 grams of Protein per cup and 0-1 grams of fat.

On the dietary guidelines from my surgeon said it has to be low fat. Trust me I prefer regular cream based Soup lol.

I wouldn't be worrying about fat content. Actually during my entire weight loss I have not counted/looked at fat content. We eat so little it will not have a detremental effect at all. I have lost and met my goal weight: 78.2 pounds in less than 6 months. Go full fat!!

My surgeon "made" me eat low fat cream Soups too. Not as good yeah, but I used a little milk in mine as a "cheat"

I added a little lactaid to my Soup and put it in the blender. I thought it would help increase Protein lol.

Had a sleeve in 2017, lost over 100 pounds. Had a DS surgery this year (2025) for more sustainable weight loss. 🤞

The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
