minnie78 17 Posted March 4, 2013 Hi I got sleeved 2/16 and since then I've been having trouble falling asleep at night. Once I fall asleep I sleep good but I don't end up falling asleep until 3 or 4 in the morning. Can I take Benadryl?? Or does anybody know what's good for this??? mactrio 41 Posted March 4, 2013 I crush my sleeping pill and then put it in a bit of juice and dissolve it and then sip it. My dr said that our tummies can't handle pills until after 3 weeks. Good luck
kaysonsmom 59 Posted March 4, 2013 I can't sleep. I was prescribed ambien. Still couldn't sleep so doc told me to take benadryl with the ambien. Still can't sleep...so i would say its fine to take some benadryl.
Threetimesacharm 1,400 Posted March 4, 2013 Yes I took two pills after surgery: pain meds and anti-biotic which were quite large. Should be no problem.

Susie1226 138 Posted March 4, 2013 I was having that problem too. I was sleeved on 2/19/13. I talked to the surgeon and he said give it time and he was right. This weekend I finally started sleeping better. Give it time.
