Michelle1977 27 Posted March 2, 2013 I had mashed sweet potato, baked ricotta, cream of wheat, a little watery oatmeal, Protein Shakes, Soups that had chunks that I put in the blender. I am on soft foods for 3 more weeks (just about done with week 1 of soft foods). Today I had egg beaters and didn't have any issues.

FishingNurse 1,211 Posted March 2, 2013 what is a ricotta bake or what did you do with it? That sounds amazing!!!! Shelly's Baked Ricotta 8 oz of Ricotta cheese 1/2 cup grated Parmesan 1 large Egg, beaten 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning salt & pepper to taste 1/2 cup Marinara Sauce 1/2 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese Mix ricotta cheese, parmesan, beaten egg, seasonings together and place in a oven proof dish. Pour marinara on top and top with mozzarella cheese. Bake it in the oven @ 450 for about 20-25 minutes (best) or nuke it till hot and bubbly. I usually made it first in the oven and heated the leftovers in the microwave. this saved me in the early days!!! it is as good as it sounds

jennaleigh1992 43 Posted March 3, 2013 May I suggest making this in muffin tins!! Perfect meal size!! This may sound like an absolutely stupid question but is is considered puréed after its cooked or do you purée it?
Karee 8 Posted March 3, 2013 This may sound like an absolutely stupid question but is is considered puréed after its cooked or do you purée it? Honestly ricotta is so soft you will bet its a mush out of the pan. If very worried you can purée it but I don't think it's necessary!!
LifetimeLoser 208 Posted March 3, 2013 I also made homemade stew and chili. I did canned chicken or tuna with greek yogurt. I ate blended up Soups, hummus, yogurt, ricotta cheese.< /p>
