Preop Diet & Headaches?

Ok, so I've dieted a million times and I know to expect headaches, BUT this is crazy. I was on Phentermine and knew when my surgery was scheduled I'd have to stop taking it so I stopped about a month ago and of course headaches followed that. Now I am on a low carb preop diet and I had the worst Migraine last night! I am getting sooo close to the date that I am scared to take ibuprofen or naproxen. I did last night because I talked to the nurse at the hospital. Anyone have headaches or pain just before surgery? If so, what did you take? Can I expect headaches post op too??

Post-op you will have prescribed pain meds so you shouldn't have any issues with headaches! Best of luck to you : )
