devonmae 56 Posted March 2, 2013 to get a surgery date after your insurance approval? Just wondering what the differences were. I'm afraid its gonna take a long time to get a surgery date because my surgeon is the head of the department and his appointments were booking into april just for preop. The scheduler made an appointment for me because i work at the hospital and they try to get us through the process quickly she said. I'll see for sure in 10 days that's when i have my preop

Pepper Paul 143 Posted March 2, 2013 When I received my approval they scheduled me for surgery about 3 weeks out. That left time for a couple final appointments and two weeks for the pre-op diet. Good luck with yours!

DrmBig4Evr 152 Posted March 2, 2013 I saw the doctor and they set it for 2.5 weeks out, but I had to wait a week to see him, so about 4 weeks or so...
