christoph 12 Posted March 2, 2013 So I was sleeved on the 26th am home recovering now (at my moms Who is a nurse from heaven). She's been helping me with EVERYTHING I definitely suggest having someone around for a week after as you will definitely be sore and moving around is rough (even shifting in bed). Have been taking pain Meds to help with the pain and also have not BM'ed since the morning of the day of surgery. Tried a few times but my belly is too sore to push hard enough. Used wind Miralax today and still nothing. Anyone have this happen to them also?
Benthere 4 Posted March 3, 2013 I think it took me a week to have a bm. My doc wasn't concerned unless you feel constipated. Miralax can take a good day to do the trick!
mark! 449 Posted March 3, 2013 Yup, from what I've heard it's normal. I've had some BM's, but they've been liquid, no solids at all.
Lolo214 4 Posted March 3, 2013 Totally normal. Try the dissolvable Fiber in your Water every day. I know I struggled with this in the beginning, but now it's normal to go every day to every other day. Drink lots of fluids too bc it can be painful if your dehydrated.
