cj6444 0 Posted March 2, 2013 Anyone have the hiccups bad? I use a Cpap and wonder if that is adding air and adding to the CO2 from my operation?... Also have Percocet pills - good ways to crush and mix? Thinking applesauce.. Highest weight 369lbs Surgery weight 341lbs on 2/
mark! 449 Posted March 2, 2013 For me, breathing slowly with the hiccups stops them. My breathing gets real shaky and all, but after a few deep breaths, they're gone. For pills, I'm using a pill crusher since I can't have applesauce for another 2 weeks. I just crush them up, put them in a medicine cup, toss em in my mouth and take a small sip of crystal light. It's not the most pleasant way of doing it, but it gets the job done.
goya 7 Posted March 2, 2013 Same here! Surgery Wednesday and home today. I still can't figure how I'm gonna drink that much Water. Still hurts to get that water down. Not to many hic ups but it hurts when I do.

goya 7 Posted March 2, 2013 Apple juice or Gatorade is what I mix to my crushed med's. I was sleeved on Monday and can't have applesauce for 2 more weeks. I'm a little concerned. I wasn't told to crush my meds. Should I be doing that?
Tawnie 99 Posted March 2, 2013 If your pills are larger than an m&m you should crush them. Check with pharmacist if you do not know if extended released or if bottle does not warm against it. It will be easier. I also put mine in apple juice and Gatorade.
mactrio 41 Posted March 2, 2013 My dr told me to crush any pill (tums, Vitamins, Tylenol) for 3 full weeks after surgery. He told me that the sleeve won't tolerate whole pills.< /p>
