Yeah' date=' that one had me wondering, too. How about the one from the powder Room asking whether to wax or shave prior to surgery downtown.

Really?

I have heard of this prior to giving birth which raised my eyebrows, but women think about this stuff?

Really?

Now don't get me wrong. I do a little manscaping, too, but in prep for surgery?

Did you tattoo your phone number across your belly, too? "Doing anything after you take out my stomach?"[/quote']

You never know, there are probably some very hairy people out there. And they have the jungle thing going on. They probably wanted to make sure you can see their stomache. Lol Someone should of have told them to frenchbraid it or do dreadlocks lol.

Unless I'm confused on what you're asking

What exactly is a costco sample lunch?

I assumed it was like a lunchable? No?

Not really. It is literally a bunch of sample from ham slices, to Cookies, to energy drinks to yogurt. What they happen to be sampling. It is good that most times they are sampling foods that are good for us like chicken or beef.

Um, ballpark 150 Cal? Depends at how big your bites are, I suppose. Sorry, I was not blessed with the calorie guessing gene. Hence, my diet is very simple and I depend on my trusty food scale.< /p>

That sounds good but I think I will wait until I get the answer I want... Eventually someone will come along and say

"girl that's nothing I wouldn't even count it"

Hehehe :P

Yeah, costco shopping is like 4 times around the track by the time you are done shopping.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
