JMS 16 Posted March 1, 2013 Was sleeved yesterday at 830 am and I feel pretty darn good, now it's not even been 24 hours yet but hey this is great. I'm I safe or can things turn for the worse? Anyone go from great to poor?
vogue 310 Posted March 1, 2013 enjoy feeling great.... of course things CAN happen but likely they wont.... just get up and walk, sip, walk, sip, walk, sip!!
mactrio 41 Posted March 1, 2013 Just stay hydrated. And walk. I'm feeling weak today (post op day 4) and have felt lightheaded & dizzy, my tummy hurts if I drink too much. Just keep sipping small sips every 1-2 minutes. I wish you tons of success!!

vogue 310 Posted March 1, 2013 I feel like I can drink the cup down pretty fast, of course I'm sipping but do not really feeling restricted you are still medicated too... so you cant feel everything yet... today or tomorrow you may feel like you've been hit in the gut with a bat... the feeling of being able to drink a lot is all in your head.... if you can do a half a medicine cup you will be doing a lot better than I could.... most important thing right now is to sip ( stay hydrated) and walk... BuffaloCarol 6 Posted March 1, 2013 Good news indeed. I was sleeved on Monday, and was out of the hospital after 28 hours. Boy, they sure don't let you sleep there. I feel good, over did walking on day 3, so I needed to take a dose of pain meds. Felt groggy after that, yesterday was good, but I find that I am having a hard time now choking down the Protein shakes. Any advice?
JMS 16 Posted March 1, 2013 They are saying I need to stay until Sunday. If I stay feeling this good I can't imagine why however I do have a lot of wires and monitors hooked on me.
