soontobehealthyandthin 18 Posted March 1, 2013 Sleeved on 2/27. Should be released from hospital today. I'm up moving around and my only complaint is again the gas. Still taking several walks a day seems to keep the gas moving. My question is they take the staples from incision out in a week. How do they do that? Is it awfully painful? I don't understand why disolvable stitches can't be used. Lol. I had stitches removed abt 7years ago after a csection, and yes it hurt. More of a sting. Im definitely not excited abt my 1 week post op appt wen i get them removed... good luck.
Lina12 3 Posted March 1, 2013 The staples are like a small pinch people! You had the major part out of the way don't be afraid of pinchs
BuffaloCarol 6 Posted March 1, 2013 Wow, I consider myself lucky, my doctor didn't use staples or stitches. He used what he called super glue, so far nothing leaking or anything. I can shower when ever I want to, just with my back to the sprayer.
Decembersleever 154 Posted March 2, 2013 I had zero pain when the staples got removed. Not a big deal at all
