salsha 114 Posted February 28, 2013 I'm a week out and still extremely bloated and feel very heavy and bogged down in my stomach area. I never had this feeling before surgery, is this normal and if so how much longer will it last??

TheGamer 406 Posted February 28, 2013 The more you heal, the better you will feel. The first week was the worst for me, then things got much better very quickly.
salsha 114 Posted February 28, 2013 Ok thanks for letting me know. Most people seem to lose a lot of weight their first week and I just lost the weight I gained from the IV fluids during surgery and feeling this bloated makes me feel like I'm never going to go down on the scale! Not to mention its very uncomfortable. I have a couple more days before I start my Protein Drinks but I've been managing to get my 64 oz of fluids a day down, however, that makes me feel even more bloated. Hopefully I'm like ya'll and feeling better by next week!
