I am concerned

I've done some reading on other sites about this.

Not uncommon I found...

Some say its panic attacks. Or a pinched nerve in the back???

But I copied this persons response for you to read.

I have had this happening to me since my sleeve. I had lapband before my sleeve and never had this happen. I have had several near occurences of syncopal episodes. I see black often and my hearing starts going and I worry that I am going to black out. My surgeon and primary Dr. have been trying to figure it out. What they have figured out is that my Blood Sugar is running on average between 60s-80s. Not, too bad when you are looking from the outside, but as explained to me by a few Dr's now. I used to eat large meals full of sugar and fat and everything so my body was used to dumping insulin. So, my body is still dumping insulin and I am eating very little and very healthy. Solution for now, to take glucose tabs over the counter, actually cost like a dollar at walgreens. I understand everything you are saying. I am used to working on my feet for 12-13 hrs at a time since I am a nurse and it has been very hard since I had my surgery. I am constantly lightheaded and dizzy. Hope you figure it out!!!

I have episodes of dizziness since my surgery. It hs happened daily since sleeved. If I change positions quickly, I feel like I am going to pass out. I have attributed these spells to either being more on the dry side or my lack of calories.

I felt like that for the first 2 months not every day though. i just felt like I had no stamina. Almost fell asleep at work a couple times and have pulled over for a power nap. It got better though. I am 4 months out now and I don't have that feeling anymore. I can work out for more than an hour and not get dizzy now, but it took awhile.

Hope everything works out OK for you.

Check your POTASSIUM. In fact, everyone check it. I dont know if you guys remember Terry Schiavo, but a couple of years ago she fell into a coma caused by a potassium deficiency after dieting. I do not want to scare anyone, but just keep it in mind.

I remember all the legal trouble regarding Terry, but I had no idea that her coma came from dieting! Just remember to get your Vitamin levels checked regularly and take your supplements.< /p>

Yep! Lack of potassium. How bout them apples? The legal trouble was who had the right to decide to unplug her or not, but the reason for the coma was dieting!

Any shortness of breath or chest pains? Pulmonary embolism (blood clot in your lungs) can cause the dizzy feeling and passing out and can occur up to 6 months after surgery!

Yes I have been eating enough I am eating 1000 - 1200 calories a day also taking in 130 - 150 Proteins a day trying to drink 50 ml plus in Water taking medicines on time.

I don't think that's enough water... 1mL = .0338 oz, which means you're getting less than 2% of the daily minimum of 64oz if you're drinking 50 mL. These symptoms also remind me a lot of dehydration, which makes sense if that 50mL wasn't a typo. I really hope you are ok and that the solution is as simple as drinking Water.< /p>
