buplee 556 Posted February 27, 2013 Congrats to you. It is good to hear someone had a good experience with Aetna. I fought with them for 18 months and was denied twice ( i was too healthy with a bmi of 48, but no comorbities). before finally getting approved and sleeved on 2/19. Finally hired a healthcare advocate who threatened to go to the media and to sue them.

buplee 556 Posted February 28, 2013 Doing much better. The surgery pain is non-existent, but still dealing with gas. I have not weighed myself yet. I am waiting to my two week follow up. I still have swelling and don't want to get discouraged. My brother-in- law is 7 weeks out and 50 pounds lighter. I hope I can have similar results.
