Nothing's tastes good. Gas is getting somewhat better though. Just my left side is killing me
superchica879 58 Posted March 1, 2013 Had my surgery on 2/26 also and are still dealing with lots of gas, some stomach pains from surgery but quite a bit of pain in my left shoulder/collar bone area. I am having a hard time getting liquids down but hopefully that'll change soon! Good luck with your journeys!

Gas is alot better though. I'm just exhausted feeling and my back is killing me from walking all weird and laying on my back at nighttime. I've been sitting with a heating pad on it most of the day when I'm not up walking. Hubby made me laugh a few times and I literally thought I was going to die from the pain. I'm supposed to go back to work tomorrow but I truly don't feel ready. I'm maybe at 65%. How long did everyone take off work?

Lots of little aches and pains I'm trying to figure out as well. They are right when they say its a whole lifestyle change!![/quote'] Hanging in there! I can honestly say that I feel MUCH better than I had anticipated. With that being said, my two issues... My abdominal muscle where trey removed my stomach is still very sore and I'm still dealing with the gas discomfort. Both are something that I can live with and seem to improve every day. I'm VERY glad I decided to take two weeks off of work and not just one. There is no way I am personally ready to go back to work right now. I feel that my energy levels are still adjusting and I need a bit longer to adjust to the mental end of this.
