Hello all!!!

I'm 2 months post-op.

Im 2o-25lbs down so far. (not as much as i hoped i would be about now)

My sleeve can tolerate a lot of things that other people are scared to eat i guess? I find myself getting hungry a lot.

I feel like i can eat a lot.

I eat and then im stuffed but if i wait like 30 minutes im hungry again. Does anyone else do this???

Im know that i am not getting nearly enough Protein in and frankly i cant stand it anymore.

My tummy is flatter.

Im in a smaller size jeans :) super happy about that.

I can tell that i am getting smaller and i love it. I def do not regret my sleeve at all. I love it.

Life is pretty awesome right now <3

advice and suggestions are welcome.

I'm 5 weeks out and I'm the same with getting hungry, about 30mins-1 hour after I eat I'm hungry again. I'm trying to get my Protein in but I'm getting about half what I'm supposed to everyday.

I'm down 46lbs, 26lbs was Pre op.

I'm loving life too!! My clothes are looser and people are complementing me about the loss. Are you exercising?

I have to eat every 3 hours or I feel like my sleeve is eating my intestines. It gets worse around my period. I feel like I can eat more during that time, as well as being more hungry. Make sure that when you are eating you are eating stuff that's going to help you and not hurt you. Good luck!

I'm 9 weeks out and down about 33 pounds. I don't feel hungry a lot but I think that's because I'm on a daily reflux med. But I find it really hard to eat anything honestly... I WANT to eat but I can only tolerate Soups comfortably. If I try chicken or anything dense it comes right back up again. But I also really struggle with eating slowly.

Over all I feel good but would like to be losing faster... I haven't had to buy any new clothes yet either :( !

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Anyone had the TORe procedure? How did it go? How much weight did you loose?

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
