Does walking get easier after the sleeve?

Just a quick caveat. Walking right after surgery will be a bit harder in the beginning. Besides being sore' date=' I got out of breath easily. At first I just went to the corner and back. Now I'm walking up and down the neighborhood. I can feel my circulation and breathing capacity improve with each walk. Keep plugging away at it, it gets easier with time.[/quote']

Yes and do use your breathing apparatus if they gave you one. I was sucking wind on that for a week after leaving the hospital before my lungs were back to normal (had low o2 levels from the anesthesia). I am happy to report that breathing issues do generally work themselves out if you practice with that little spirometer at home for a few minutes at a time.
