Isn't Masturbation safe sex???

Anyways when ever you are ready!!

Masturbation may not be safe depending on where your hands have been. I meant when either or are safe.

I know, it was a failed attempt at humor... :)

Most docs do say when ever you feel comfortable... I've never heard the six week thing unless your into acrobatics.

There is NO reason you have to wait six weeks...you don't even have to wait that long to exercise. Whenever you feel up to the task, and as long as it doesn't hurt. Don't be doing no crazy dominatrix stuff or anything....but enjoy away! If its good enough you will be burning calories the best way there is! Hehe.

Well you have stitches and you don't want to do anything to damage your progress. Believe me I know it's hard I have a husband, and there are lots of ways to get satisfaction other then penetration. Be creative, and besides think about your health.

Unless you are screwing a horse or bending over backwards, I think the stitches are safe. LOL

Not everyone gets stitches....I didn't. I had steri strips...and my incisions were completely closed by day five. I had sex at about a week out....and it was great. Heck I gave birth, had my va jay jay stitched up from the v to the a and still had sex less then 3 weeks after that. All those dissolvable stitches were gone by then even.

Try it...if it hurts then don't do it....if it doesn't.....yeah you! Lol

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
