ashley18 8 Posted February 25, 2013 Hey Everyone...I am a type II Diabetic and I take my fasting sugar every morning and before the pre op diet my sugars were around 113-124 and now that I am on the pre-op diet with Bariatric Advantage my sugar levels have been between 136-144...is this normal?...I called my doctor but he said to speak to the surgeon and the surgeon said to speak to my primary?!...I mean I am not freaking out because its not that high but still...doesn't seem right... TheGamer 406 Posted February 25, 2013 Are you putting any addons in the shake that might up the sugar content, like fruit? I know that BA shakes don't have much in terms of sugar or carb.
ISleevedIt 380 Posted February 25, 2013 Unfortunately I have no experience with this, but I hope you get your answers from your primary. It's discouraging when you get the run around from your doctors.
