Hello! I am new to this forum and I am so excited to have found a community of people who are on the same journey as me! I am nine weeks post surgery and have lost a total of 50 pounds. This has not been an easy journey for me. For 14 days post op I could get nothing in except Water and only minimal at that. I should have been rehospitalized but it was Christmas and I refused to go to the hospital! I had to work closely with my doctor and dietician to get through it and am doing much better. Eating is still a struggle for me and I find myself having to often force myself to eat and trying new foods is also a challenge. I am terrified of trying bread! However, I am still so happy that I was able to have the surgery. I know that one day all this will have been worth it. I am so ready to get my life back and become an active and more involved mother for my children. I can't wait to explore this site and get recipe ideas and other tips.

Welcome! And congats on your surgery and weight loss. This is an excellent sight. You will find lots of topics, or post your own if you have questions about anything. There are people on here that consist of newbies all the way to people who were sleeved for years.

Everyone is so nice and very helpful. Try the recipe forum for great recipes and more. Sorry about your bad start, but it will get better. Just stay positive and focused:)
