jaymzee 79 Posted February 24, 2013 After having surgery and loosing a good amount of weight? Just wanted to see how others are doing. Who has regular cycles, if nothing has changed. All that fun stuff.
Jacqueline Marie 73 Posted February 26, 2013 This was a question I wanted to ask as well. I am pre-op and have PCOS. Never had a normal period sometimes no period then at times a month long period.I have had some Hair loss, wondering if hair will grow back after surgery. MrsG 329 Posted February 26, 2013 I was sleeved 1/15/13 and I had my first period on my own last sunday and it lasted 5 days, like a "normal" one! I know it sounds strange but I'm hoping to get one every month. I would love to have a baby. If you look under special interests there is a PCOS support group too. There are lots of women on there with great success stories concerning PCOS!

At this point I'm thinking its back to the same old routine of provera to regulate. I started while I was still in the hospital after surgery. This was not fun times but in the end it will all be worth it.

Bella86 82 Posted March 3, 2013 I'm on the mini pill so I don't usually get mine every month but it's been forever this time!! Had a really light period after nothing since before surgery which was in October!!
castiel 66 Posted March 3, 2013 I went 9 months without having my period pre-op. Only had hair loss when I was first diagnosed at 15. Had surgery 12/17/12. Then a two days after surgery I got my period very lightly for a few days. It's been regular ever since then (always off by a two days or so). First 2 times were really heavy. Then this month it was only heavy the first 2 days and light the rest! Part of the reason I got this surgery was to help my PCOS. However, even 10 weeks post op I'm noticing my hair is coming out a little more.
