starfish108 15 Posted February 24, 2013 I'm about 2 weeks out. I think I pulled an abdominal muscle on my lower left side. The only pain free position to sleep is on my back. But, I am so sick of sleeping on my back, its uncomfy! Due to pain, cannot sleep any other way. I used to be a stomach sleeper, but don't dare try that. Even turning to the side is excruciating. Do others have this problem? What can I do? Sent from my iPhone using VST
Geminidrive 389 Posted February 24, 2013 Try putting a small pillow under the lower part of your back that might help.
TheGamer 406 Posted February 24, 2013 You'll be able to go back to sleeping as you like once you heal up. I spent my first two weeks in a recliner, personally, because being flat in the bed made it harder to get up and the acid reflux was icky. Pillows are great for support, though, once you start sleeping more normally. I am a side/stomach sleeper and used a pillow for support and it made all the difference
