Banned member 320 Posted February 24, 2013 I've never heard of it referred to as a spider incision but I had the single incision in my belly button and the pain was minimal. Of course there was some discomfort after surgery but by the time a week came around I wasn't in any pain. I can't even see the incision since it's in my belly button but I can feel where they cut if I stick my finger in there. I'm so glad I went with the one incision. Oh and I didn't have a drain either. Banned member 320 Posted February 24, 2013 My belly button did start to get a little stinky and sweaty after it had healed but I put a cotton ball in there for about a week to keep it dry (I changed it often) and it eventually went back to normal. I think I developed a yeast infection in there because when my belly button area swelled from surgery, it basically closed the opening to my belly button and I would sweat in there. The cotton ball absorbed the moisture and kept it dry but I didn't start to put those in there until I was about a month post op and fully healed. Other than that I'm really happy with the one incision
