doreen70 268 Posted February 25, 2013 I was about 5 weeks post op when she said I could. Her opinion was I needed Protein more than the risk of getting gassy with a straw.

Gemini618 34 Posted February 26, 2013 Hi All' date=' I am gearing for my VSG on March 7th and I wanted to know if I should purchase Isopure drinks? I've heard that they can be quite nasty but I am trying to find ways to get in Protein immediately after surgery. Please share your experiences. Thank you.[/quote'] My nutritionist said to cut them with crystal lite
HoosierGirl 780 Posted February 26, 2013 I have used Isopure RTD in the glass bottles since surgery on 2/4. I tried several from GNC and I found the Apple Melon, Grape, and Orange were OK. I like that it is clear and has 40g of Protein. Good luck!

TapSnap 357 Posted February 26, 2013 I love Isopure. I buy a month worth at GNC the first week of every month. Grape is by far my favorite. At first I didnt really care for them but after a week I started to like them. You do have a after taste to them but it gets better over time.
