Most places have soup...or if you go say mexican---refreid Beans work well, chinese you have egg drop soup....there are usually mashed potatoes...it will be a bit of a challenge, but just think how awesome next years birthday will be!!! It will all be worth it!! It seems like no matter when you get banded, there is always a holiday or family get together of some sort. I have been seeing all kinds of Thanksgiving questions!!! Hang in there...you're on mushies, you have almost made it through the hard part!!!

      The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

        Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
