Mystie 146 Posted February 23, 2013 Depends on the specifics of your diet, because the Special K shakes are high in sugar.
lilbearzmom 584 Posted February 23, 2013 The Special K shakes are a litte high in sugar. Can you make your own shakes?
chitowngirl 886 Posted February 23, 2013 Eas pre made shakes are good. They're sold over the counter at major retailers.
Vidalia 122 Posted February 23, 2013 I had to drink the Bariatric Advantage post-op and they were unbearable. I had to force them down. I have gone through many different types of Protein Shakes since then, powder and pre-made. I have finally found one that I can tolerate. I don't LIKE it, but I can drink it without too much dread. It is pre-made Premier Protein shakes from Sams. They come in chocolate and vanilla and I have tried both. I only like the chocolate. They have 30 grams of Protein.< /p>
caramelbaby10181 30 Posted February 23, 2013 I enjoy Body Fortress whey isolate. Get it at Walmart for $21.97 for a 3 lb tub, i think it is. Its really good, it tricks my brain into thinking I had dessert. I have only tried the vanilla but I think I will get chocolate next.
melissa130 135 Posted February 23, 2013 You need to follow your Doctor's orders. Seriously. You do not want to jeopardize your surgery and increase the risk for complications. These bariatric centers have very spent a lot of time on studies and know what works best. Just do what you are supposed to. Please. I wasn't crazy about the fusion shakes I had to drink - but I did it.
