During stage 2, all I ate was Cream of Mushroom Soup and boiled eggs and Crystal Light. My stomach would not tolerate Protein Shakes.< /p>

I liked (and still do) the Premier brand of RTD Protein. Not overly sweet, comes in vanilla and choc. You can get them at costco or Sams. You can amp them up flavor wise. Premier website has lots of recipes for making them even better. I also ate a lot of yogurt. The Yoplait Greek 100 calorie was suggested by my nutritionist and they are pretty good. I made a lot of home made egg salad, and pureed cans of chicken or tuna with BBQ Sauce or Italian dressing. Not great to look at, but was really tasty.

Those are good days. I start full liquids tomorrow so I'm making a list for the store.

I would not buy a lot of any one item. My tastes seem to have changed a little.I am now very aware of sodium in foods most Soups tastes way too salty.

When you get to the mushie stage:

Cottage cheese

Egg salad

Refried Beans

2% Greek yogurt

Baby bel cheese (let it get slighty warm) melts in your mouth.

Google egg face's ricotta bake. Yum!

This is what I lived off of from 2 weeks until 2 months :-)

I had the ricotta bake last night! I divided It and baked it in muffin tins!

My favorite Protein by far is Unjury! It's not too sweet and doesn't taste fake. I really enjoy it with PB2!

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
