BabyGotBack 0 Posted January 16, 2007 I buy some really awesome liquid vitamins at Sams Club called Glacial Milk. I did a search and found them online too. They are really good. They are FAR superiour to chewable flinstone INGREDIENT DESCRIPTIONS: One 32 oz. bottle of great-tasting Glacial Milk® Complete Nutrition is a convenient month's supply of over 130 highly synergistic nutrients for less than a dollar a day - probably less than most people spend on that cup of coffee or soda they drink every day! Aloe Vera Gel: 51% base of pure, whole leaf, cold processed Aloe Vera Gel, renowned for its excellent healing properties. 77 Plant Source Ionic Major and Trace Minerals: Your body most efficiently absorbs minerals in plant source ionic form. Elemental minerals in pill form are essentially rocks, and your body was not designed to absorb rocks. Besides, most pill supplements usually contain only 11 or 12 minerals, not the 77 plant-source ionic minerals that are in Glacial Milk® Complete Nutrition. 10 Fortified Minerals 16 Vitamins & Nutrients 22 Amino Acids 3 Essential Fatty Acids Large Daily Amounts of Special Antioxidants: Glacial Milk® Complete Nutrition also includes a large daily maintenance amount of some of the most powerful free radical fighting antioxidants currently known to man: Ester C® (500mg/oz) - Vitamin C is a key antioxidant, providing the body’s main defense against free radicals which are produced continually within our bodies. Vitamin C scavenges free radicals and cleans up waste products. Ester-C® is a unique form of Vitamin C because the body absorbs it more quickly and retains it much longer than any other form of Vitamin C. Ester-C®'s patented manufacturing process neutralizes the pH, making Ester-C® gentle on the digestive system. Grape Seed Extract (60mg/oz) is a natural super-antioxidant 50 times more powerful than Vitamin E and 20 times more powerful than Vitamin C. It combats free radical by-products from the toxins in the food, air, Water and metabolic processes that cause oxidation damage to our body's cells and tissues. Una de Gato (600mg/oz) is also known as "Cat's Claw" and has been used for generations by the Ashanica Indians in the Peruvian rain forest and is effective in balancing hormone levels, supporting the immune system, and cleansing the digestive tract. Alpha Lipoic Acid (50mg/oz) may be the most important antioxidant ever discovered because it supports the effectiveness of many other antioxidants in the body. Lutein (5mg/oz) is a carotenoid found in vegetables and fruits. It is not made in the body but must be obtained from food or supplements. Recent evidence has found that lutein may play an important role in protecting our eyes and eyesight. CoEnzyme Q-10 (3mg/oz) is involved in generating 95 percent of the energy needs of your body through the production of ATP, the basic energy molecule. CoEnzyme Q10 acts as an antioxidant, similar to vitamin E, and has become very popular with those studying anti-aging and the prevention and treatment of heart disease. 51% base of pure, whole leaf, cold processed Aloe Vera Gel (14,458mg/oz) - Aloe Vera Gel is renowned for its excellent healing properties and supports the self-cleansing action of your body for a healthy digestive system and a healthy energy level. The aloe leaf contains over 75 nutrients and 200 active compounds, including many essential enzymes, 20 minerals, 18 amino acids, and 12 vitamins.
BabyGotBack 0 Posted January 16, 2007 Hey BabyGotBack! Thank you for the info. I'm gonna look into to those..Like I said, the Atkins ones are gross (my personal opinon!) Let me know how the Myo ones taste... Now, i've never had soy milk...how does it taste? I buy the Silk brand and it makes my shakes taste really good! I am lactose intolerant with regular milk. I also read somewhere that soy helps to firm the skin!!!:clap2:

BabyGotBack 0 Posted January 16, 2007 I think the type of liquid vitamins we are taking are a lot better than chewable childrens. But, if that is all someone can take, I guess it is better than nothing.

patsygrn 0 Posted January 16, 2007 howdy! I Just Got Home From The Hospital. Everything Went Great. Everything But The Weather. My Surgery Was At 1:30, The Weather Was So Bad That The Radiologist Left Before I Got My Flouroscopy Done So I Had To Stay Overnight, Which Was Already An Option Given To Me Anyway. I Was Suppose To Have Had The Flouroscopy Then At 8 This Morning But With Our Ice Storm Employees Were Late Getting In And It Didn't Get Done Until 10:30. I'm Grateful For The Night At The Hospital Though, The Bed Was Comfortable, They Hooked Up A Pca Pump And The Slightiest Little Twinge Of Pain I Punched The Button, So I Was Vertually Pain Free Throughout The Night And All Day Today. Just Had My First liquids And Of Course I Ate Too Much Now I Feel Like My Chest Is Thightening. I'm Fixing To Take Some Of My Pain Med And Go To Bed. I Have To Say That So Far This Has Been A Plesant Experience As Far As Surgery Goes, Just Unbeliviably Easy!

BabyGotBack 0 Posted January 17, 2007 Hey BabyGotBack! Thank you for the info. I'm gonna look into to those..Like I said, the Atkins ones are gross (my personal opinon!) Let me know how the Myo ones taste... Now, i've never had soy milk...how does it taste? I bought some Myoplex Original ready to drink chocolate fudge shakes. I was pleasantly surprised. They are really good. One shake is 17 ounces, so I have been sipping on it for about 1/2 hour. I think I may drink half and save the rest for later or tomorrow. One has 43 g. of Protein, 7 g fat and 310 calories. I have only had about 400 calories today, so I am going to try to finish it by the end of the evening. I get restricted again at night for some reason. Soy milk also tastes really good! You should try a mini Silk vanilla Soy.

You will be surprised when you wake up how easy it really was. I couldn't sleep the night before either. Some people get a sleeping aid from their doctor. One that won't have any side effects with the meds and anesthesia. Let us know how you are doing!!!!
