how long out did you wait to shower? and did you use any precautions?

My doc told me I could shower the 1st day I was home post-op.

I had surgery wed afternoon and was discharged friday morning with approval to shower then. No specific restrictions other than to not scrub over my incisions. I had to use hebiclenz prior to surgery for 4 days and they suggested just using it over my tummy so i washed it first with my hands and then soaped up with my usual shower gel everywhere else.

I showerd a few days after. Just keep your bandages on and dont let Water get directly into any of the incisions especially the drain one.

I showered the afternoon of my surgery (outpatient). I was told to just avoid scrubbing the incisions.
