This is the first time that I have experienced this feeling and I'm assuming its a reaction.

I ate 4 oz of frozen yogurt for lunch. 155 calories, no big deal. Right?

Wrong.

I feel SO SICK. I am nauseous, I have a headache, and I feel shaky. I'm barely keeping the frozen yogurt down, but I'm debating just letting myself throw it up for relief.

I have experienced sliming, but this is 100x worse!

Any thoughts?

I wonder if the sugar content was too hi. My doc says dairy can only have 12 g per serving. I have only found the count that low in a few kinds of yogurt.

Not sure what type you had but I had no fat/no sugar vanilla yogurt the other night and had no problem at all.

Maybe you just ate it too quickly or it was something else?

Hope you feel better quickly.

Try eating plain yougurt like fage plain or chobani or trader Joe's organic plain. Sweeten it up with a little honey or sugar free jam. I experienced the same symptoms that you had its the sugar content.

I eat Carb Master yogurt at Kroger. Carbs are less than 4 & you get 8 protein!

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
