I'm 2 1/2 months post op...I've been stuck at 216 for one week! My weight even went up to 221 and has went up and down between 216-218 all week. What should I do? I'm pretty active. Should I start back on a liquid only diet? Maybe I'm getting too many carbs? This is annoying! Any tips???

I've heard people say to increase calories, Protein and Water to break stalls. You're body needs to know you're still feeding it so it doesn't go into 'starvation/survival' mode. I have hit 3 stalls already, and I'm only 3 months out. They are so frustrating! Hope yours breaks soon.

Foxymomma, just be patient.... I have had stalls all the way through my 6+ months but it does come off. The first 2 monts it went like gangbusters but then I would go a week between losses but then 5 lbs would fall off over 1-2 days. I am now 6 monts out and I stall for 2-3 weeks at a time and will actually fluctuate up a pound or two, then all of a sudden, 3-4 lbs drop off....

I just had my 6 month appt and they said to expect losses sporadically all the wat for up to 1.5 years. It is a fast process at first but the body levels it out and will then start to drop off slower, but continues to lose none the less... Basically, just keep up what you are doing and follow the guidelines, and it will start back up again. Besides, having to replace your entire wardrobe multiple times over 6 months is not always fun for the bank account, haha!
