gmanbat 5,889 Posted February 20, 2013 Oh, no! I'm 517 pounds.......on Jupiter. http://www.explorato...du/ronh/weight/ < check your weight on other planets. That is, if I could stand the crushing gravity and stand on a gas planet that would be my weight. I'm only 36 pounds on the moon. So what's your point, Gman? The scale ony tells you how much gravity is pulling on you because you are on the Earth. Your weight does not mean as much as your composition...muscle, fat, bones, etc. Those are the things that determine your welfare. Don't let that little, flat buttinsky scale push you around. Let it talk and then tell it to shut up.

Sassygirl06 962 Posted February 20, 2013 Love this! I am constantly saying to people...stop weighing yourself! Go by your clothes and inches. I started in a size 24-26....now I'm a 7-11....don't need a scale to tell me I lost weight. I only weigh once a month...keeps me from going crazy! janarae 93 Posted February 20, 2013 I have decided to unfriend my scale, I'm 3 weeks post op tomorrow and while I did lose 19 in 2 weeks it hasn't moved in 6 days. Don't worry I'm not all freaked out I'll never lose again, i wont make one of those crazy posts of " whats going on" I've decided to go with the flow and the pounds will drop. I'm paying attention to my measurements, I like that better. Jana, sleeved 1/31/

I too lost weight in the first 10 days about 14 pounds but since then nothing! I hard because I think will I loose weight? Mind thinks crazy things!
janarae 93 Posted February 20, 2013 I agree about the mind, I had a revision from a band and I initially lost, then nothing so I do have that going through my mind. I researched this much more then I did the band so I'm confident if I do what I'm suppose to be doing I will see the results. Good luck to you Jana, sleeved 1/31/
