my dr didn't give me any info on taking Vitamins. I currently take 6 vitamins a day well 7 if you count my Iron. They are not chewable or anything. Should I be taking chewable vitamins after surgery? I also saw that some people take liquid vitamins?

I feel kind of bad about what I do after reading your post. I just take a Flintstone's Complete chewable Vitamin every morning, lol.

He there... I take a liquid Vitamin that has tons of great stuff in it, during this first month...since our eating is so eratic..but my Dr's office said to just take kids chewable vitamins...one a day is all you need to get what you need for vitamins...DO NOT take any pills... I had to have all my pills downsized or turned to liquids...they can block your band area. Especially after you start to get fills...

I use those chewy chocolate, mint, or strawberry flavored ones. I keep them in the candy bowl, for a sweet fix.

would it be ok to crush the ones i take already. They are great Vitamins and very potent, they dissolve immediately in a cup of Water. Could I crush them and take them with yogurt or something?

I wouldn't crush them unless you check with the manufacturer or a pharmacist first.

I tried the Flintstones chewables but didn't like the taste so my doc told me to try the Flintstones gummies and they are great. I would eat them if I didn't need them. LOL.

My band dietician said that I need to get used to using either a kids chewable or a liquid Vitamin. Also she wants me to start on chewable calcium citrate. I have been using caplets so far and I plan on finishing them then going to the chewables before surgery. Those viactiv chewables look like they would be good....they have chocolate, caramel, or strawberry.< /p>
