Got my medical id bracelet

Surgery is Thursday and my medical id Bracelet just come in today. The doctor told me that there should be no blind NG tube for the next 6 months as my stomach heals and to limit NSAIDs. Occasionally is ok, but it shouldn't be on a regular basis. I plan on wearing the bracelet just for 6 months so I got a cheap stainless steel one. The total cost was $30 with engraving. I had my first name engraved on the front and on the back I put:

VS Gastrectomy

date of surgery - weight

No blind NG tube

no/limit NSAIDs

ICE

Anyone else wearing a medical id bracelet?

I never did, but I did have a card in my wallet that said the same thing, which they check usually in emergency s.
