I felt the same way when mom bought me a size L old navy sundress as an incentive. I figured I'd try it on to gauge how much more weight I'd have to lose to wear it and it fit! A large! Not a XXL or XL but a large! Which is probably the smallest size I'll ever wear in tops. My grandma passed on her chest size to me, even at my smallest Mediums felt like a corset on my tatas ;)

Congrats on the NSV! Personally, I find those way more gratifying than the scale :)

Had a nsv and a sv today. XL fitted shirts fit great and I broke the 250 mark today when I woke up to 247 on the scale. I love my sleeve!!!

Ok everyone, I want to be super clear, so dumb question....what is the most a sleever will ever be allowed to eat at 18 mos. post-op? There seems to be a slight debate on the answer from my sources, so I present the question to you.

Well I lost 91lbs since 6/19/13, I think I would of lost more but I had surgery on a other issue that kept my activity down, but now it coming off pretty good. I been riding a bicycle from my house to Scottsburg Walmart the boatman road route is helping , once in awhile i do walk around lake iola in Scottsburg but its just boing walking by yourself. So I hope everyone is doing great.

I find the lake super boring and awkward by myself! And holy cow, 91lbs?! That's AMAZING! I'm jealous! So happy for you :D

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Anyone had the TORe procedure? How did it go? How much weight did you loose?

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Your so close now! It's gonna be great :) Wishing you a speedy recovery and looking forward to seeing how it goes!

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
