My surgery is Thursday and I just couldn't wait to get a medical id Bracelet. I went online to order a stainless steel one since my doctor said it was good to have one for the first 6 months, but not necessary. Well, I like to play it safe and decided to get one to wear for 6 months. Then I read on this site, that someone's spouse got her a platinum bracelet with the date and weight of her surgery as a reminder to help maintain weight loss. I like the idea so much, that I looked for a sterling silver id bracelet to engrave my surgery date and weight on it. I would love to get platinum or gold, but I'll just have to settle for silver. Still I'm excited and have ordered a silver bracelet. I can't wait til after surgery so I can wear my bracelets...that's if they come in time....lol...I ordered them from ebay.

Anyone find themselves ordering bracelets prior to surgery?
