toylitpapr 50 Posted February 17, 2013 Any suggestions on the best, most effective skin firming techniques, creams, etc...?
tiffy0485 123 Posted February 17, 2013 I bought Loreal Revitalift. I hear nothing but good things about it.. It is fairly expensive so I will just use it on my face and neck. I also heard there is a Jergens skin firming lotion. I am going to look for that bad boy at Walgreens today.

puppyphat 397 Posted February 17, 2013 I started wearing the tightest sports bras I could fit into from 2 weeks post op. my tummy is saggy, my arms and legs too, but even though I've gone from a c cup to an a cup, my boobs don't jiggle at all. Compression works great. Getting myself some skinny jeans and a leather jacket to live in from now on.
Barisaxylady 154 Posted February 17, 2013 Seriously, do the firming creams do anything?
tiffy0485 123 Posted February 17, 2013 Who knows, I would rather be safe then sorry. If it helps out a little bit then that's awesome. Plus you get nice soft glowing skin afterwards. I would rather do it myself. Nothing wrong with putting extra Vitamins on your skin.
woman in me 307 Posted February 17, 2013 I'm going to do wraps. I'm even thinking about selling them if they work. I think it would be fun to do the parties. Plus I'm part owner of a Hair/Nail salon so I have a good exposure there

SeriouslyChange 319 Posted February 17, 2013 You can try the creams and wraps. Genetics, age, and skin elasticity pretty much determine whether or not your skin will firm up or not. But, if you have money to burn giving products a try, just keep track of what does and does not work as this question comes up a lot
theshrinkingchef 61 Posted February 18, 2013 Wraps are kind of temporary. I've never heard of any lasting results. They cost a lot. I recommend taking collagen supplements. Try this: dry brush(helps circulation), wash with sulfate free body wash( helps retain moisture), exfoliate(2x a week, gets additional dead skin off), moisturize with a good body cream( nivea is good). Supplement with silcon and collagen( you can find a good hair, skin and nails supplement at GNC or walgreens). Also, wear a compression garment to hold things in. Gravity will only stretch and pull as you lose weight. It'll help. It'll never prevent it totally, but it'll help. Weight lifting will help, also. Good luck!
