luvinthanumi 20 Posted February 15, 2013 VSG family I need help/advice. I was sleeved on the 28th of January and from my last pre op visit on the 22nd until today I've gone from 399 to 368 which is good I know but every day for the last week and a half my weight ranges between 366 and 369. Am I in the 3 week stall or what? I met with my nutritionist yesterday because I'm not getting enough fluids in and that has to improve or I can make myself sick. I feel fine for the most part not in major pain just don't have to much energy. What can I do to get the scale to move?
Susie in Lima 320 Posted February 15, 2013 Just be patient. The weight is going to come off. You have already lost 31 pounds!!!! Since the end of January! Your body is probably trying to figure out what the heck is going on. Just take a deep breath and try to keep your mind on something else. Just be patient. Good luck! ProudGrammy 8,322 Posted February 15, 2013 399 to 368 which is good I know luvinthanumi glad you know that your "number loss" is great!!!! 3 weeks PO down fluctuating 31 lbs, or so is wonderful!!!! stalling now???? well, ok - but i see other stalls in your future (you and the rest of our neighborhood ) this is a fact of being in sleeveland - get over it seriously, we all experience stalls, we all get frustrated you need to be patient - the weight has no place to go but down hun, don't fret, or be discouraged ok??? to alllll NEWBIES and other sleevers "God grant me patience, just hurry up about it"

ashelaine 383 Posted February 15, 2013 I am experiencing this too' date=' but come tuesday it will the the week three AND week FOUR stall. Is this common? Ugh.[/quote'] I was sleeved 11/13. I stalled from 12/1-12/10 THEN again from 12/23-1/1. Agh! I wanted to cry! But- those have been the two longest stalls I have experienced now at 3 months out- more to come, I'm sure, but I will take it!
NurseGrace 509 Posted February 15, 2013 That makes me feel a little better, I am going to the grocery store today because I know I have been a little LAX about what I've been eating because I've been running low on some things and worried about what my husband will and won't eat too. Time for me to get over it though, I think I'm going to go to biglots and pick up extra tupperware and pre-make some salads and have them ready in the fridge.
