julfisch831 1 Posted February 15, 2013 I had my surgery 10/24/12. I started at 275 and am currently down to 211. I am still struggling with solid foods. I don't know if I'm now chewing enough or what! Does anyone else have the same problem? Soft foods and liquids are still the easiest .. Every time I eat regular foods my stomach is very uncomfortable and I feel very nauseous. Another issue is drinking I hate that I can't drink a lot. I am so thirsty but can't seem to get enough in. I'm just wondering if there is something I need to improve on or if this is normal. Thank you for any and all support!!

Things get better don't get frustrated.....It took me pushing through the nausea. I called the Dr and got pills for the nausea. That helped tons. I was sleeved 11/7/12, I can drink 72 oz`s of Fluid a day. However, I sip, sip,sip all day. I can not drink large drinks or I will feel nausea. If I eat food to fast and do not chew enough I feel nausea. Hope this helps. Best Wishes. Tina
Dalola 12 Posted February 15, 2013 talk to your doctor. You may have some restrictions going on that they need to be aware of.
