stepheff 33 Posted February 13, 2013 I do not generally get hypoglycemic, but after surgery had trouble. I could feel it and to be honest but not scary the first 2 weeks is THE hardest thing ever (and I've given birth......TWICE)! I did well with the pre-op diet which for me was 10 days of full liquid with the last day being clear liquid. I would get really light headed after surgery and even blacked out a couple times. My sleeve seems to be very tight still (4.5weeks post op) and has been the whole time, but my post op has been nothing like my pre op diet. I don't like the same things and my sleeve doesn't tolerate things I did before. My doctor told me to drink regular gatorade when I would start to feel light headed to get some sugar and it seemed to work! I wish you the best and know that everyday is a new and better day!
