mzrich 29 Posted February 13, 2013 I just had my follow appointment almost 2 months out. I told my surgeon I have been throwing up yellow stuff. He responds its bile. As if its normal, I just feel like talking to him is a waste of my time. Ive grown tired of turning to him for anything

lessofmeismore 1,405 Posted February 13, 2013 He didn't say what is causing it? Tests he could do? How to stop it? I'm so sorry... I know you have been suffering like this for a while... Can you go see your primary care physician?

SMO 193 Posted February 13, 2013 Did your surgeon do a liver biopsy as a part of your surgery? If so, maybe the cyst is related?
Territravel 217 Posted February 13, 2013 I was sick and in pain for about 8 hrs, throwing up bile. Went to the emergency room and It turned out I was having a gallbladder attack. They ended up removing my gallbladder and no more problems with that. I would get another doctors opinion asap!

smblalock5 9 Posted February 13, 2013 I agree sounds like gallbladder. Have you had yours removed? If not, I would for sure have it checked.

lessofmeismore 1,405 Posted February 14, 2013 I had a cat scan, actually several, for kidney surgery and I have a cyst on my liver as well. I'm almost ten months out but I assumed it might be from them lifting the liver for surgery. My kidney doctor didn't elaborate on the liver cyst. Let me know what you find out. But I haven't had any problems like your having When will your blood work be in? Did they take labs? Did your surgeon run any type of tests?? You have suffered too too long I am so sorry
