My Exciting News

Recommended Posts

On Friday I am having a forehead lift and my upper and lower eyelids done. Since losing weight I kind of look like I have a permanent frown. Yep, my face has sagged. Since it's the only saggy bit I can't cover I thought I would start at the top and work my way down.

Good luck! I'm looking into blepharoplasty too as my eyes have sagged and Its the one place I think I can lift now, well before my WL has stabilised. Keep us posted!

Day two, so far so good. Not much pain at all. Lots of ice packs and waiting. Bandages have to stay on until Thurday so have to wait and see. Will report when the new me is unveiled.

How are you keeping yourself occupied, and have you much bruising? Glad the pain is minimal- must be mending fast!

I had a brow lift, lower bleph, and necklift about 7 weeks ago. I had the coronal incision for the brow lift - from ear to ear over the top of the head. I'm very happy with the results. I hope your recovery goes well!!

My recovery has been great. I am so happy, I look 10 years younger. It was well worth it and would not hesitate to do it again.

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
