That depends on how big of a spender you are, how well you negotiate, and how long you are staying.

If you are just talking about a few tips, and a couple souvenirs, $50 is plenty. Small bills though.

How much do i bring

I brought around $200, but I was paying for my companion and bought gifts for people. But you really maybe only need $50 or so and that's just for tipping, if that's something you want to do. The hotel gives you 2 bottles of free Water and Popsicles, and 3 bowls of Soup. You will not be able to consume all of that after surgery. And you will not be able to drink anything at the hospital until you've had your leak test.
