I add it to chocolate SILK milk alternative. I bet it's good in the vanilla too, (in case you don't like chocolate)

Do i make it into pb before iadd it to Protein shakes? I dont like my chocolate protein' date=' is PB2 good with vanilla Protein? Any recipe suggestions?[/quote']

There are individual packs of yoohoo drink mix that are wonderful. They have them in Walmart by where the crystal light and other drink mixes are, they come 6 or 8 in a box for $1, and are sugar free! We put them in our vanilla Protein Powder and they're wonderful! They have chocolate and strawberry! I have also found them at target and dollar general.

Can you tell us the name of the store? I'm in CA. I know Amazon has it but if I can just grab it tomorrow that would be nice. Thanks!

This such a trigger food for me... I bought a jar of the regular and the chocolate too preop and used them way way too fast. I knew i couldnt limit Peanut Butter so should have known this is STILL peanut butter... But used the reduced fat/calories as an excuse to try it. Im going to have to be better at limiting before i ever buy it again. Just be careful and log it with everything else you eat.

I have to limit myself to one time a day, but I do have 2 servings. My first jar was gone in a day or 2. Oops.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
