johnlatte 1,232 Posted February 12, 2013 I put hot sauce on just about everything. Never have a problem. I would suggest that you go slow and try a little at a time. But tobasco and spicy BBQ sauces are my bestest buddies!

enigmachik 403 Posted February 12, 2013 I love spicy foods so this was one of my concerns as well. Thankfully, I have no problem at all with spicy foods post-op
Aaron in Tulsa 147 Posted February 12, 2013 I have no problem tolerating spicy foods. I'm three months out. I do, however, have a problem tolerating spicy foods with nothing to drink, and since I can't drink while I eat anymore, that's a problem. So I mostly avoid spicy foods. Geminidrive 389 Posted February 12, 2013 I haven't had any problems with spicy and hot foods, but I'm wondering if I'll still be able to enjoy the super hot habanero infused foods. That 30 minute drink wait might shut that down.
NurseDee 9 Posted February 12, 2013 I am so glad to hear!!! Love my spicy food. It will be tough not drinking with meals. That's something I've always done.
