Ok, my computer is seriously acting up, lol. I just reached my goal Saturday so maintenance is new for me. I don't find that I have any cravings but do have an issue with MFP. When I have left over calories at the end of the day I feel I must eat them, lol. Don't ask me why, it's a mental thing. But someone offered some great advice/suggestion that I'm going to try to take care of that issue. I exercise 5 days a week, 30-45 minutes a day. Treadmill on incline or elliptical. I gave Focus T25 and C25K a go and found I didn't enjoy either one of them. I just worry so much about going back to where I was, it's consuming my every thought and I need to find a balance. I guess just like the losing phase was a learning process maintenance will be a learning process as well. Congrats to all those and their success! Any suggestions/advice are greatly appreciated :)

My wife didn't want to have surgery so she went back to Weight Watchers, and I joined too! They know I had the sleeve and have been very supportive. I'm 6 pounds from goal and I'm going to do maintenance with WW!

Congrats to all February sleevers. Everyone is doing and looking great.

Today is my anniversary, I am down 78lbs from surgery and 83 from my heaviest. Its been a slow go but a go none the less. I have watched everyone who lost 100 and above and been jealous but it will come for me in due time.

People see me and can't believe how good I look. Strangers that see me workout tell me I'm looking good.

GW 246

The compliments keep motivated. I workout 7 days a week for 1 and a 1/2. Some days I go twice. I can run on the treadmill without being winded. I climb stairs without being winded. I run upstairs without being winded. No need for a seat belt extender. My shoes feel loose. I can see my collar bones. My clothes dont fit.

I have been wearing 3 pairs of jeans that my daughter gave me and those are getting loose. plan to go shopping in the next 90days. Today my ego took a hit, got fitted for a bra; was wearing 46dd she measured me a 40ddd or 42dd. I fit the 40ddd, it was tight with lots of extra skin hanging over the top. I was hoping for better. I guess I have some work to do in the next 90days.

Winningbylosing: My sleeve sister! you are doing GREAT! I am in awe of your fitness achievements! Everyone loses at different rates and who cares as long as you are healthy and happy! Don't fret about the bra fitting. If you are built larger in the upper body it may be you have some loose skin there. I'm build wide across the butt and have big hips and thighs. I doubt I'll ever be happy with that part of my body in terms of appearance but I am forever grateful for my health and the new lease on life that my sleeve has given me.

Winningbylosing, you look fabulous and are doing wonderfully! It is hard not to be envious of those who lose quickly, hit their goals, lose 100 lbs etc. but I try to turn it to inspiration instead.

I've lost a good 60 over this year and want 20-40 more but I treasure my young male coworker who asked me did I really need to lose more because I already look so good. Dear boy!!

I value my new abilities to use and enjoy my body and know I will have to literally work my ass off to get where I want to and it won't be tomorrow but cheers to you and cheers to all who are working this and improving their quality of life

Just dropping a note since most Feb 2013 Sleevers are long gone. I stay with the forums to help keep my head in the game. My 2 year surgiversary came and went without fanfare. I live a new normal now at 135-139 lbs. I have an unending goal to get to 130 lbs but I don't work at getting to it. I eat 1200-1500 calories a day. I gain if I just eat junk or carbs but otherwise weight maintenance isn't too tough. I am amazed at how much I can eat now. Half a sandwich is no problem here. I now live an active lifestyle and can truthfully say that I look forward to exercise (it took probably a year or so to get to that place). My life has changed a lot since surgery and most of those changes have been for the better-- if nothing else, my wardrobe is amazing! To any other Feb 13 Sleevers, I hope this post finds you happy and healthy and drop a line if you can. Here's a body pic from Valentines Day. post-161802-14248800128477_thumb.jpg

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
