shortsleevedkay 28 Posted February 11, 2013 I am 11 days postop and I can swallow more liquid now than before, almost as much as preop and I noticed that the burning ,fizzing on the top of my stomach I used to get when I eat anything has gone away....is this normal to feel almost normal when eating and drinking???? You need to drink a ton and since there is no food in the way to stop it, you have a bunch of room for liquids! If you can drink comfortably, time for the happy dance!
