damanda 41 Posted February 11, 2013 Did your Dr. pick it for you(or help you pick it) ? Did you just have one in mind? The BMI you were before kids? Something more interesting ?
HoosierGirl 780 Posted February 11, 2013 I had a number in mind....the nutrionist gave me a number that was HIGHER than what my goal was...so, I figure I will just take it as it comes and see who ends up being right! Ha ha!
Dee 39 Posted February 11, 2013 I didn't pick a BMI I let my body tell me when I felt truly comfortable in my skin. Good advice "take it as it comes". Just relax, follow your plan (find one that works for You!), and last stay off the scale try to weigh monthly. (AND keep logging/postng on VST) Dee
FeeIsMe2 508 Posted February 11, 2013 My doctor didn't give a goal BMI yet, I chose the highest normal BMI.
johnlatte 1,232 Posted February 11, 2013 My Dr. asked me how much I wanted to lose and what my goal weight should be. We went from there. I took a weight that was in the middle of the BMI range for me. It isn't a weight that I have been at in a very long time and was exactly 100 lbs from where I started from.
